Brno Conference on Linguistics Studies in English is an international conference organized biannually by the Department of English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic.

The Sixth Brno Conference will be held on 11-12 September 2014 and will be dedicated to current trends and developments in English linguistics studies with a focus on communication in various genres and discourses.

Academics and university lecturers are cordially invited to present their research within the fields of discourse analysis, stylistics, translation studies, pragmatics, genre analysis, hybrid types of discourse, and multi-media communication.
