Registration in the bone marrow donor register – 26 February 2024

Make a mark in someone's life

Dear students, dear students,

We would like to invite you to the registration for the bone marrow donor registry, which will take place on Monday, 26 February 2024, from 10 am to 4 pm in the Relaxation and Conference Room (Poříčí 9, basement).

Only about 1% of registered donors donate bone marrow to someone. Still, with each registered donor, the chances increase that there will be a match for someone who needs marrow to have a chance of surviving leukemia. We will only take a sample by swabbing your mouth on site; you will be given a donor card. Depending on your current workload, the process takes about 10 to 20 minutes.

The student association Mission of Hope organizes the event in collaboration with the Faculty of Education.

Important deadlines

The deadline for the end of course enrolment changes is approaching

On March 3, 2024, the possibility of changes in course enrollment ends. Please check whether you have enrolled in enough ECTS courses to qualify for advancement to the next semester.

Term calendar

Cancellation of classes on March 25, 2024 from 15:00

Due to the celebration of Teachers' Day on March 25, 2024, a Dean's Day off will be declared for that day (from 3:00 p.m. until the end of the day). There will be no classes on PED MUNI on that day.

Call for applications for freemovers abroad

Currently, the second round for students going abroad as freemovers in the calendar year 2024 is underway. The deadline for applications is 15 April 2024. The duration of the stay is a minimum of 30 days, maximum 1 semester. We recommend arranging practical internships for a maximum of 4 months.

The traineeship agreement can be obtained either traditionally by filling in the downloaded Training Agreement document or electronically in ISOIS (directly from the application form) by filling in the documents for the Learning agreement for traineeship. It is recommended that you leave the application form to the last minute so that you can get all the signatures.

Priority is given to Bachelor's and Master's students who have not yet travelled, however other students including PhD students can apply (but they should primarily use other options).
