Photogallery: Welcome breakfast for Erasmus and degree students
We welcomed our new Erasmus and degree students. Great conversation over coffee and donuts and a fun "Meetup Bingo" where the students could get to know each other. Our buddies were there to help with public transport, Wi-Fi, and any questions.

Can human behavior be changed for the better? And if so, how can we achieve this? These questions are answered by professor William L. Heward, a renowned expert in the field of applied behavior analysis, who spoke at the European Association for Behavior Analysis conference in Brno. On this occasion, the first Czech translation of his seminal book "Applied Behavior Analysis" was also presented. We interviewed him to discuss his accomplishments, perspectives and practical applications of ABA in education of children.

I have been on the faculty with varying amounts of time since 2009. Last September I finally said goodbye to science and now my home faculty is ours, the teaching faculty. My major is botany, so students in the Department of Biology meet me in courses that deal with "flowers" in all their various forms. My favorite part is teaching in the field, knee-deep in grass or moss. And the higher the altitude, the better.
