Description The publication of the first novel written by Camilo José Cela (The Family of Pascual Duarte) in 1942 initiates the literary carrier of the author. Camilo José Cela is one of the most important (and controversial) Spanish writers of the 20th century, whose name is related with one of the most peculiar literary phenomena in the postwar Spain, the so called tremendism.
