Hana Horká is an associate professor at Department of Education, Faculty of Education, Masaryk University. She teaches courses in the pedagogical-psychological module, including School Pedagogy, which examines the theory and practice of schooling, curriculum, and teaching. She also helps to teach the Theory and Methodology of Education, which includes lessons on class teachers, school-family collaboration, dealing with educational situations in the classroom/school, and cross-curricular topics.

Based on the findings of research studies that investigated the formation of human relationships with the environment, she investigates the possibilities of transforming education within the framework of so-called biophilia. From 2020 to 2023, she was part of the team for the TAČR project (TL: 05000360). "A Different Kind of Report Card." She supervises Ph.D. students and serves on the doctoral board for the field of pedagogy. She is also on the editorial board of the journal “Komenský“.
