Medallions of Department Members

Kateřina Lojdová is an associate professor at the Department of Education at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University. She focuses on social aspects of education as well as school-related educational topics. She gained professional experience from international internships in Israel and California. She has contributed to Czech Science Foundation (GA ČR) projects on power dynamics, classroom management strategies, and diversity in pre-service teacher education. She led the GA ČR project on participants' narrative identities in private alternative schools. She has also worked for the National Institute for Socioeconomic Impacts of Diseases and Systemic Risks (SYRI). She gives lectures and seminars in both Czech and English.
