Medallions of Department Members

Gabriela Šimková is a doctoral student and assistant at the Department of Education, Faculty of Education, Masaryk University. She teaches courses in the pedagogical-psychological module, including Seminar for Introduction to Pedagogy and Psychology and Research in Education Practice. She also teaches the popular e-learning course “Virtual Classroom”, which focuses on the application of new technologies in education.

Her professional interests revolve around researching online learning, which she also explores in her dissertation. Gabriela is also concerned with digital well-being and how digital technologies affect students and teachers. Her methodological focus is on narrative research and a quantitatively oriented pedagogical quasi-experiment.
