Petr Svojanovský is an assistant professor at the Department of Education, Faculty of Education, Masaryk University. His research focuses on teacher education, mentoring, student diversity, and reflective practice. He specializes in qualitative methodology.
He has participated in, or is currently involved in, numerous research projects. In addition to research, he focuses on development projects aimed at improving the quality of teaching and teacher practice in pre-service professional training. He oversees teaching practices, teaches courses on practice reflection, and contributes to the education of mentor teachers.
He has collaborated, or continues to collaborate, on research and/or the development of teacher education programs with international partners, including the University of British Columbia (Canada), Monash University (Australia), Queen's University (Canada), and the University of California, Berkeley (USA).
