Medallions of Department Members

Eva Trnová is a associate professor at the Department of Education, Faculty of Education, Masaryk University. She is a graduate of Masaryk University's Faculty of Science. She has long been involved in research on giftedness and skill development issues. In addition to these areas, she is particularly interested in innovative teaching methods in science education, such as Inquiry-Based Science Education (IBSE). She has participated in a number of international projects, including the PROFILES project under the 7th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development, where she investigated methods for further training science teachers. Her publications primarily address these topics. She serves on the editorial board of “Komenský“ journal and as editor-in-chief of “Svět nadání“ magazine (Giftedness World).
