Dana Veselá is a lecturer at the Department of Education, Faculty of Education, Masaryk University, where she applies her pedagogical and administrative experience to student teaching. She teaches courses in the pedagogical-psychological module, including School and Educational Management, Educational Diagnostics, and Pedagogical-Psychological Diagnostics, as well as Practice Reflection, during which she provides students with feedback.

She works with the National Pedagogical Institute as the coordinator for supporting gifted students in the South Moravian Region. Her professional interests include assisting gifted and exceptionally talented students as well as improving teaching quality by empowering students to take responsibility for their own learning. She emphasizes formative assessment, the teacher's role as a guide, critical thinking, and the integration of formal and informal education.

She serves on the editorial boards of the journals “Gymnasion“ and “Svět nadání“ (Giftedness World), where she contributes to professional discourse and pedagogical practice.
