The conference aimed at presenting both the traditional and innovative research approaches that are currently used in research on schoolbooks and other educational media.

Proposals for papers/posters that deal with one of the following aspects were invited:

1. Review of methods currently used in schoolbook and educational media research;
2. Examples of successful application of traditional or innovative methodological approaches in schoolbook and educational media research;
3. Critical analyses of research methods applied in schoolbooks and educational media research;
4. Evaluation and quality criteria of schoolbook and educational media research;
5. Elaboration of theoretical concepts, dimensions, and categories which are methodologically relevant in schoolbook and educational media research.

Conference languages: German, English

Publication

In the publication only papers that will meet following criteria will be accepted:

• content correspondence to the conference theme,
• German or English language
• acceptance declared by the editors.

Deadline for submitting manuscripts to the Editors: March 1 2014.

The publication will be published by Klinkhardt Verlag.
