Popis | One of the relevant phenomena in current pedagogical environment in the Czech Republic is an increased interest of specialists and the public in questions of upbringing and education of gifted children. The status of gifted children in school educational processes is far from unequivocal and entirely favorable. There is generally said opinion that no advanced country can afford to neglect giftedness of those pupils, who have potential of bringing high and stable values to society. This opinion, however, encounter many obstacles in practice. Our study brings findings from research probe focused on gifted children’s parents and their experiences with support their successful education.
