| Popis | The chapter presents the results of research studies on folk music in music education at primary schools and selected secondary schools (grammar schools and secondary pedagogical schools) in the Czech Republic, conducted at the Department of Music at Masaryk University from 2019 to 2021. It reflects the issues on the current state of music education in the Czech Republic regarding teachers' attitudes to folk music, the importance of folklore heritage in the education of the young generation, difficulties in the application of folk music in school and suggestions for improvement. |
