| Popis | The article deals with the functions of precedent phenomena in modern Russian and Czech media discourses in a comparative aspect. Particular attention is paid to the functioning of these linguistic units in a transformed form: their recognizability, i. e. the reader's ability to identify the original version of the precedent phenomenon, is very important for achieving the goals set by the author of the media text. The variety of types of transformations and functions, the main place among which, undoubtedly, is occupied by the ludic function, is presented on the basis of specific examples given from modern media discourse. |
