Popis One of the key sites for research into the Linear Pottery Culture is the settlement and cemetery in Vedrovice-Zábrdovice (District of Znojmo). The site extends over the southeastern mountain slopes of the Krumlovský les (Woods) in southwestern Moravia and is remarkable due to its proximity to the raw material sources of the Krumlovský les hornstones. This hornstone was used from the Middle Palaeolithic into the Bronze Age. The majority of the silex artefacts (90%) found in the Linear Pottery Culture settlement at Vedrovice-Zábrdovice were produced of this local hornstone. This essays deals with the flint industry and pebbles that the burials in this cemetery contained. The first portion is dedicated to the examination of the flint industry and the pebbles in the cemetery in Vedrovice. The final portion deals with the comparison of trapezes and trapeze-similar forms from this cemetery and as well as from other Linear Pottery Culture sites.
