Description | The paper presents the web based dynamic modeling in physics education developed by PHP and JavaScript as an easily accessible tool for teaching at all levels of schools. Based on research studies, we prepared dynamic models enabling students to understand different physical phenomena. The advantage of dynamic modeling is for example in situations where students are not able to analytically calculate a given problem themselves. Moreover, the obtained values for model situations are often represented in a graphical way where the relationship between independent and dependent variables is clearly recognizable - this brings added value for understanding the physical nature of the phenomenon or the action. Created simple graph is usually the standard output of the dynamic modeling. This paper points to the possibility of incorporation interactivity and animation/step progress in dynamic modeling, which further strengthens students' analytical thinking during solving physical problems. The novelty of the proposed solution is that the dynamic modeling is created on the easily and freely available web platform. |
