| Description | Paper presents research in the first aid that illustrates the status of the health literacy of Czech citizens. It attempts to outline ways of exploring and in particular the development and strengthening of critical health literacy within the field of Health Education. The issue of health literacy is widespread in the world and researched topic, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, this concept is known so far only a relatively narrow group of experts. In our opinion it would be helpful if the term spread among the general public such as mathematical literacy or information literacy. This could be, as is the case with the analogous terms, favorable and useful consequences. In school documents such as the Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education, this term does not exist yet, even in Human and the health or in the field of Health Education. |
