| Description | Presented article deals with the testing of hearing in children of early age and follow-up care in case of confirmation of hearing impairment. The article is a result of theoretic research. Current trends in the care of children with severe hearing loss demonstrate the importance of ensuring neonatal hearing screening in newborns and developing of functional communication. An important predictor of optimal childs development is close cooperation between parents and specialists. |
