| Description | The chapter offers insight into the special education area - Deaf Education. There is introduced the concept of education of the hearing impaired children, emphasized an importance of early detection of hearing loss and described possibilities of compensation of hearing impairment. The chapter also deals with a developing of communication skills, an interpreting process of Czech sign language and a dual sensory disability issues - deafblindness. The chapter is a result of theoretic research focused on national concepts of deaf education. |
