| Description | The article is about so called art lending libraries. Art lending libraries are organized similarly as libraries, i.e. they lend originals of arts works (mainly drawings and paintings) for a symbolical fee to visitors who can place them in their homes or offices. The article focuses on the history of art lending libraries, their importance, main objectives, as well as the risks related to such projects. This article is a product of original research that is the subject of the dissertation. |
