Besides a detailed analysis of Penhall's two latest plays Haunted Child (2011) and Birthday (2012), the author contextualizes both texts and points to all crucial themes and motives repeteadly present in Penhall's plays. Moreover, both Czech and British productions (Royal Court Theatre) are being mentioned.
