Citation
Description The aim of this paper is a description of a word order in Old Czech, especially in Old Czech text Olomoucké povídky of 15th century. The analysis is focused on the word order of modifiers in the noun phrase, one of which is a possessive pronoun. More specifically, the position of possessive pronouns among nominal modifiers and its development is studied to determine whether the position in pre-nominal modifiers has been fixed or there were any distinctive changes in the position against the head noun. Moreover, the analysis is focused on the type of noun phrase, rhythmic articulation clause, absolute position of noun phrase in clause and topic and focus phrase. Somewhere, the results are compared with present Czech language and some Slavonic languages.
