| Description | The attention is paid to the verbs that are derived from nouns – names of places or objects that can form places (bedna, střecha) or that can cover places. The article is focused on verbs derived: (a) by suffix -i- (hnízdit, tábořit); (b) by circumfix (zastřešit, přemostit…). The analysis is based on the research of that verbs in the Czech National Corpus SYN and found verbs are classified according to fundamental noun, that the verb is formed from, to the meaning of the fundamental noun and relation between verbs with suffix or circumfix and fundamental noun and to the frequency in corpus SYN. Than we pay attention to usage of some verbs in various contexts and we interpret various meanings of one verb and connection of various meanings with various stylish value. |
