| Description | Participation in the colloquium Literatura a/versus média – bilance a perspektivy, held on the 8th December 2011 (Olomouc, Filozofická fakulta Univerzity Palackého, katedra bohemistiky, Křížkovského 10), project ESF Bohemistika: obor pro třetí tisíciletí. The paper, entitled Three versions of Hlídač č. 47 deals with the film adaptations of the novel Hlídač č. 47 by Josef Kopta directed by Josef Rovenský in 1937 and Filip Renč in 2008. It tracks the minor formal and stylistic shifts from the original text by which filmmakers transform the meaning of the story and bring it to the contemporary mainstream film production, for example by using different types of censorship or instruments of hollywoodization. |
