Description The chapter describes a process and results of the research in the field of using interactive whiteboards in teaching English at lower-secondary level of basic schools. The long-time research done in lower-secondary schools in the form of non-focused observation concentrated in ways of using this modern device, on types of interaction and also tried to find out whether there is sufficient space for developing communicative competence in lessons of English when interactive boards are used.
