| Description | This article deals with a brief comparison of the legal position of slaves from the legal point of view, namely from the perspective of the natural law and the civil law (ius naturale and ius civile). The autor raises following question: is ius civile and ius naturale in congruence or is incompatible? The answer is ambiguous: there are many legal regulations which are inconsistent with the common presumption about slave as the object of legal relationships. |
