Description	Chapter discusses the diagnosis of language disorders - aphasia, alexia, agrafia that arise as a result of brain damage. In the begining, the classification of the different types and their characteristics are described. Following are diagnostic procedures used abroad and then diagnostic procedures used in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In conclusion it presents recommendations for practice.
