Description	This chapter deals with the diagnosis of dysarthria. It mentions etiology, classification of types of dysarthria and the description of the diagnostic procedures used abroad. Methods for the analysis of acoustic signals are described in detail. Following are diagnostic procedures used in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In conclusion it presents recommendations for practice.
