Description The results of a survey that was carried out among pupils of lower secondary school. The aim of the survey was to find out which features of texts about history of chemistry do act as means of motivation on pupils. It was found that the main aspects influencing the motivational charge of the texts are the length of the text and its professional comprehensibility.
