Description The book presents a part of the research study financially supported by the interdisciplinary research project MUNI/M/0012/2013 Inclusion in Schools as an Interdisciplinary Issue. Bases, Conditions and Strategies for Implementation and Institutional Development Plan of PdF MU. Successful inclusion is related to the quality of life of people, equality in education, and humanization in schools. The main research sectors are special schools for pupils with severe disabilities. The book is based on the comparison of approaches to inclusion within the educational policies of Germany and the Czech Republic. The last chapter presents a research project focused on the analysis of approaches to the development of communication skills of young adults with severe disabilities.
