| Description | We were looking for appropriate tasks for gifted pupils in the frame of a research with talnted pupils. The square, as one of the simplest polygons, has a great motivating potential for many other matematical topics. Via this polygon, it is possible to prove some mathematical theorems, derive the properties of other geometric shapes, develop combinatorial thinking, etc. The contribution comprises several samples of using the square and its properties. |
