Description | Geometry is an essential part of every person's life. We need spatial sense in everyday activities to be able to orientate ourselves with respect to the surroundings. To develop spatial sense, we must have many experiences that focus on geometric relationships. One of activities that work with geometry relationships is described in the contribution. We show how two children of the third grade work with geometric concepts and how they use their autonomous language to describe reality. The outcome arised in the frame of research with mathematically gifted pupils. |
