Description | The book covers the topic of an inter-faculty research project Inclusion in Schools as an Interdisciplinary Issue. Basis, Conditions and Strategies for Implementation. Attention is focused on teaching pupils with severe disabilities and the broader context of their education. The book is divided into five thematic sections and eighteen chapters covering following topics: theoretical background, focusing on the participation of a person with a disability in society, comprehensive rehabilitation resources and psychological and mental hygiene issues in teaching pupils with disabilities in terms of inclusion, legislative framework and the clinical picture of diseases. Two main topics deal with the characteristics of pupils with disabilities, conditions and strategies for teaching them. |
