Description This paper gives a contemporary view at the problem of space by using the Bertrand Westphal’s theory of Geocriticism whose integral part is created by transgressivity of spaces. By analyzing some novels by Sylvie Germain in the light of transgression of different boundaries, it is also possible to reach the threshold between two worlds: profane and sacred.
