| Description | When choosing a future profession and vocational education, young people often need help. Besides parents, teachers, counsellors in schools and out of school can provide it. Disability or social disadvantage may have a considerable effect on the choice of a suitable profession. In this paper there are research conclusions which focussed on the analysis of the current status in the field of career choosing and counselling. It presents the qualitative analysis of supporting measures in Austria, especially the new instrument called Jugendcoaching. In 2012 it was tested in two federal states (Vienna, Styria), since 2013 it is offered throughout the country. |
