Description | Talented pupils need in geometry more than the Frame educational program requires. They need to develop geometric thinking, they need stimulating activities that enable them to work with spatial objects and to solve several open-ended problems. Developing geometrical thinking is a long-term path and requires an informal encounter of pupils with geometrical concepts and their properties. The first years of education are very essential because intuitive perceiving of the world is developed. In this study, we show possibilities of developing geometric thinking of talented pupils by tasks which are stimulating enough for them. The outcome arrised in the frame of research of extraordinary mathematically talented pupils. |
