Description | This paper describes perception, reading and way of browsing of three selected textbooks of Physics by students (n = 12) of elementary school. The survey focuses and points to differences between boys and girls and it was realized in the course of October 2015. We have used a chapter describing combustion engine in each of textbook. We have used the eye-tracking (SMI RED 250 device) method followed by in-depth interview as a research method allowing that comparison. This paper presents results showing some differences between boys and girls in perception and work with textbooks. We propose some possible adjustment of textbooks of Physics that could increase the effectivity (reading and understandable) of the education process. |
