Description This book is a complex work, dealing with geomorphological unites of the Czech Republic beginning with the highest ones (geomorphological provinces) to the lowest ones (geomorphological districts). While 4 geomorphological provinces were distinguished in Czechia, number of geomorphological districts reached 101. Each geomorphological unite of all hierarchical levels is characterized by its area, bedrocks, morphostructures and morphosculptures. Important hilltops, mostly the highests ones, with their altitudes are added. Besides this, landuse of respective unite, composition of forest canopy, important biota species and nature protected areas are mentioned. The majority of the Lexicon is devoted to decription about 500 hills and mountains, while their altitude, bedrocks, shape, morphosculptures, vegetation, protected nature reserves and areas is presented.
