| Description | The present invention provides a relates to a composition for the preparation of gelatinous nanofibers containing oxidized cellulose, which comprises gelatin and oxidized cellulose sodium salt, wherein the weight ratio of the oxidized cellulose to gelatin is in the range of 0.1 to 2, and optionally further contains a solvent being selected from the group consisting of formic acid, acetic acid and mixtures thereof. The invention further describes a process for preparing nanofibers by spinning the above-indicated composition and nanofibers prepared thereby. |
