Description | The paper is aimed at the analysis of students’ opinion about the topic of entrepreneurship. Students are seen as the possible future entrepreneurs. Thus there is approach to the topic of entrepreneurship through the analysis such attributes as the motivation for starting up an enterprise, expected problems after the start of the new enterprise or financial possibilities for such activity. This attributes are considered as the important factors which are able to foster the entrepreneurial activities of the students as possible future entrepreneurs or to hinder such activities. Our own survey conducted among the students of the Masaryk University was inspired by the extensive questionnaire survey of the European Statistical Office. Conducted analysis tries to identify the significant factors affecting creation of new enterprises using a questionnaire survey among university students and compare the results obtained with a nationwide sample survey. The situation among the students in comparison with the nationwide level information leads to the formulation of the conclusions for the potential possibilities of development initiatives; such as the inclusion of more practically useful information for students as future entrepreneurs and owners of the nascent enterprises. Such initiatives could be supported by creating the sufficient environment for students at the university – education process enrichment and background for sharing the ideas and best practice among students about the entrepreneurship. |
