Description The aim of this study is to analyse the caries incidence of deciduous and permanent teeth of Slavic non-adults from burial site Znojmo-Hradiště, find out the most by caries affected tooth type and compare with the results of other Slavic burial sites in South Moravia. Macroscopic method and dental probe have been applied. I-CE of deciduous set is 7.91, F-CE 36.0%. I-CE of permanent teeth set is 3.2, F-CE 22.5%. A total of 1385 teeth and 103 individuals were analysed, in the age category Circumnatale 4 individuals, Infans I 62 individuals (F-CE 29.8%; I-CE 5.2), Infans II 25 individuals (deciduous teeth: F-CE 52.9%, I-CE 20.4; permanent teeth: F-CE 19,1%, I-CE 3.5) and Juvenis 12 individuals (only 1 deciduous tooth; permanent teeth: F-CE 41.7%, I-CE 3.3). The incidence of tooth decay is higher than for individuals from other Slavic burial sites in South Moravia (Mikulčice-Kostelisko, Prušánky).
