Description Contribution presents a results of case study - A regional portfolio as an integrating element in undergraduate preparation of students for first grade, which leads students to understand and use this principle in practice the regional elementary school. In the paper of the bases for the use of this didactic principle describes the individual steps of the gradual creation of professional and educational part of the regional portfolio during the eight semesters, but also a reflection of the conclusions of the experience with the use of regional portfolio at the faculty of education at MU.
