Description The text combines the hermeneutic type of analysis of texts and events with the Foucauldian archaeology of knowledge so that the author of it could characterize intellectually substantive change, which manifests itself in a different composition of thinking and acting. Because the composition is not as the concept generally known, for its explication, the author uses and further develops the Gadamer's concept of sensus communis which is subsequently elaborated so that the composition could express the aforementioned profound transformation in thinking and acting. The full text is devoted to prof. Hroch, who was a great inspiration in reading and studying Gadamer's work.
