Description This short paper is devoted to the canonical analysis of the Hořava-Lifshitz gravity with mixed derivative terms that was proposed in Phys. Rev. D 94, 084014 (2016). We determine the algebra of constraints and we show that there is one additional scalar degree of freedom with respect to the nonprojectable Hořava-Lifshitz gravity.
