Description | The article was created as the result of the research oriented at innovation of the content and forms of secondary school mathematics teaching. In the article there is shown on a number of examples how the choice of a suitable notation, a picture or a substitution can make the solution of mathematical tasks and problems easier, even of those which seem very difficult. The given examples are selected from the area of algebraic and geometric problems and also simple functional equations. The article also points out how it is important to develop at students – the future teachers of mathematics - the ability of a suitable notation or substitution. |
