Citation
Description Over the last 15 years, moral intuition has become one of the most crucial terms in disciplines dedicated to the empirical study of morality and it seems that even more traditionally oriented moral philosophers will be forced to deal with it. The aim of the paper is to portray moral intuition as a central yet multi-layered concept in the study of morality. For that purpose, I will briefly introduce the main lines of my research, in which I examine moral intuitions in terms of their (i) ontology ("What is a moral intuition?"), (ii) epistemology ("Are they a reliable source of moral knowledge?") and (iii) epidemiology ("What is their origin and how do they change?"). Mainly, I will focus on the last question and the role of narrative art in the diffusion of moral ideas.
