Description In this article the decline in interest in reading among current university students is analyzed. This fact implies not only the question of changing the approaches, of reformulating the missions of the studies and of controlling their realization, but also the objective of a new definition of the communication via the texts and the motivation for a targeted and structured reading. The "syntax" of personal reading shows that each text must be studied in relation to other texts as a word in a sentence.
