Description Both the analytic and synthetic research work have to be based on the general principles of the onomastic theory, especially the concept of the proper name’s language sphere. General proper name’s phenomena find expression in the proper naming act, the “onymic” object is an integral element of it. That object with the proper name constitute compact entirety that is able to realize the function of the proper names. There is the “propriality” in the proper naming act explicit or only potentially. The selection of the onymic object is regulated by the lingual or extra-lingual phenomena and by the onymic form. The onymic object is the basic element of the proper naming act, because the realization of the demand of creating the proper names that is implied by the life and society is the main goal of that act. The main markers of the bounds between appellatives and proper names are specific markers of the categories “proper name’s meaning” and “proper name’s function”. The appellative sphere of the language are predicted, the proper name’s sphere is nominated in a special way. All that facts are very important for the interpreting of the participation of the category “onymic object” at the proper naming process and at the orthography of the proper names, expecially of the urbanonyms and chrematonyms.
