Description This presentation deals with the methodology of a research focused on teacher beliefs about the development of learner autonomy and it shows the first results of this research that took place in lower-secondary schools during English lessons. Five interviews with five teachers were conducted and on the basis of their answers, their beliefs were reconstructed.
