Description Developing intercultural communicative competence represents an aim of the foreign-language teaching-learning process but also a subject to be examined in research. First research outcomes of the research which deals with intercultural communicative competence development manifestations in writing in English at basic school proved that it is possible to notice intercultural communicative competence manifestations already at the CEFR A2 level. The following paper introduces further research outcomes resulting from the post-intervention phase of the conducted research. The paper summarises and describes the way in which intercultural communicative competence was manifested in pupils’ writing once the phase of intervention, the aim of which was to develop all the dimensions of intercultural communicative competence, was implemented.
